No backing tracks: Funky Buddha are an all-live band with a big sound, who consistently deliver memorable and professional performances for wedding receptions, corporate functions and private parties.
Fully self-sufficient, providing professional PA and full light show, Funky Buddha Band have appeared throughout the UK and Europe performing their infectious music at large corporate events as well as private weddings and parties.
The carefully designed set includes classic songs by the likes of James Brown, Stevie Wonder, The Average White Band as well as other classic soul and disco. Hear the great sound for yourself.

1. Would it be possible to see the band live? Yes, we encourage clients to hear the great music for themselves. Funky Buddha Band has regular show case gigs which are a perfect opportunity for you to hear the funky sounds and practice your dance moves before making a booking. 2. How far would you travel for an event? Never say never! Funky Buddha are a South East based band and discounted rates apply for more local events. Travel expenses are an addition although we try hard to keep the costs down.
3. What do we need to provide for the band? There is no need to worry about providing any sound or lighting, Funky Buddha Band are fully self-sufficient and have all their own equipment which would be suitable for events up to approx. 500 people, (If you are planning a large event, by arrangement we can provide all the PA equipment for a small additional cost)
4. How long do you play for? Our standard set length comprises of two 1 hour sets, however this is flexible and can be adapted to suit your needs.
5. Do you take music requests? Funky Buddha Band understand you may want to personalise your event and we regularly perform special requests however these need to be agreed in advance.
